Terms of Service
Last updated 28 July 2026
Lune is a fairy-tale app for children, used under an adult's account. Some stories are free; the rest need a subscription, which renews by itself until you cancel it in your device's settings. You may use Lune with your own family and not redistribute its stories. You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time.
1. Who these terms are with
Lune is provided by Ahmet Fazlı Cengiz, an individual based in Türkiye — "we" and "us" below. Installing or using Lune means you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.

2. Who may use Lune
Lune's stories are for children, but the account is not. You must be 18 or older and be the child's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have that person's permission, to create an account and to create profiles for children on it.
You are responsible for what happens on your account, including anything a child does with a device that is already signed in. Anything that spends money or leaves the app sits behind a parental gate, but the gate is a safeguard, not a substitute for supervision.
3. What you may do with Lune
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Lune and its stories for your own family's private enjoyment, for as long as these terms are kept.
You may not copy, record, download, re-publish, broadcast, perform publicly, sell or otherwise redistribute the stories, artwork, animation or narration; reverse-engineer the app or work around its technical limits; use it to build a competing product or to train a machine-learning model; or share your account credentials with people outside your household.
4. Who owns what
The app, its stories, artwork, animation, narration, music and the Lune name all remain ours or our licensors'. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you. The names your children are given on their profiles are yours; we only hold them to run the app, as the privacy policy describes.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Part of Lune's library is free. The rest is unlocked by a subscription.
- The price and the renewal period are shown in the app before you confirm, and payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation.
- A subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours of the end of the period.
- Cancel in your device's own subscription settings — Apple and Google run the billing, so cancellation happens there and not in Lune. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Deleting your Lune account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately, or you will keep being charged.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. If you think something went wrong with a charge, write to us anyway and we will help you take it up with them.
- If you get a new device or reinstall the app, use Restore purchases in Settings to bring your subscription back.
- Prices can change. If they do, we will tell you in advance and the new price only applies from your next renewal — you can cancel before it.
We never see or handle your card details.
6. Changes to the app
We add stories, change how things work and occasionally remove things. We may need to take Lune offline for maintenance, and some stories need an internet connection to download before they will play. We don't promise that any particular story stays available forever, or that the app is available without interruption.
7. Ending it
You can stop at any time: delete your account in Settings, and every profile and reading record on it is erased with it, permanently. Cancel your subscription separately as described in §5.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms — in practice that means redistributing our stories or attacking the service. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first.
8. What we don't promise
Lune is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose beyond what is described in the app and the stores.
We are responsible for loss we cause you that is a foreseeable consequence of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by your device, your internet connection, or Apple's or Google's own services. Where our liability can be limited by law, it is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.
None of this limits anything that cannot be limited by law — including your rights as a consumer, and liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
9. Privacy
How Lune handles your data, and your children's, is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version, and if a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Lune after that means you accept the new version.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring a claim there.
